Founder / CEO

TH is a seasoned entrepreneur whose career has been centered around executive positions in the IoT systems and digital displays business. In his previous career, he had been responsible for business development, product and corporate strategy, global M&A, corporate finance, as well as general corporate management.

Prior to founding Ubiik, TH was a business development manager at Prime View International (now E Ink Holdings), where he joined in 2006 as an early team member for its newly established ePaper business. TH took on the company’s executive roles starting from Corporate Strategy Director and subsequently, Executive Vice President at Hydis Technologies in Korea in 2008. This was later followed by an additional EVP role at E Ink Corporation in Cambridge, MA. Both companies became Prime View’s subsidiaries after mergers and acquisitions (M&A) in which TH acted as the key coordinator.

TH’s interest in the vertical IoT systems business and passion for entrepreneurship were profoundly affected by his time in Korea and the U.S. By 2013, TH had joined M2COMM where he led its business team as the Sales & Marketing Vice President (VP). There he helped develop the vertical Electronic Shelf Label (ESL) market in both retail and industrial sectors. Foreseeing greater potential in the LPWAN market, TH founded Ubiik in 2016 and led it all the way to winning the largest IoT project in Taiwan. In this project, the Taiwan Power Company (TPC) awarded Ubiik Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) tenders for three years consecutively between 2018 to 2020. Ubiik stands as the leader of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) in Taiwan and is now setting its sights to becoming a global leader in the industrial IoT sector.

TH holds an M.S. degree from National Taiwan University and conducted his postgraduate studies in King’s College London.
