We are glad to announce that Ubiik is now a proud member of the European Telecommunication Standards Institute (ETSI). The membership shows Ubiik's determination to adhere and contribute to global standards in telecommunications. We are looking forward to participating in ETSI’s innovative technology community.

Ubiik is a rapidly expanding provider of telecommunication equipment for IoT applications. We provide several products like the FCC certified goRAN™ and freeRAN™ LTE base stations that can be used in licensed and unlicensed spectrums, respectively. Our membership with ETSI—and by extension, 3GPP—provides us with crucial insight into emerging standards. This allows us to ensure that our products are secure, future-proof, and readily compatible with other technology.

As a part of ETSI, we aim to contribute to the development of secure and reliable telecommunication standards. We are excited to participate in ETSI's working groups and technical committees, where we can share our expertise and learn from other industry leaders. We believe that our involvement in ETSI will not only benefit our company, but will also contribute to the advancement of telecommunications technology as a whole.

ETSI was established in 1988 by the European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT) following the proposals by the European Commission. It has since been an important player in global standardization for telecommunications technology. ETSI is one of the seven organizational partners of 3GPP, the most important telecommunication standards organization that developed the standards for LTE, 4G, 5G, and older technologies. ETSI is a crucial player in defining the future of telecommunications. They host important yearly conferences on key issues such as cyber security and artificial intelligence. In 2023, ETSI’s Cyber security Standardization Conference attracted over 1700 visitors
